In the contemporary world, almost all  people are having facebook accounts but majority are still unaware that whatever they post on facebook representing themselves. Many people are not aware that inappropriate posts on Facebook may threaten their reputation. Reputation management on Facebook is very important for every user of Facebook in order for their reputation to stay away from harm. Whatever you want to post on Facebook make sure you think before you publish because there are some posts that may ruin your reputation.

One of the first rules most of us we should learn is to avoid offensive posts; this may include posts such as insults, violence posts,badmouthing other people on Facebook. Posting such things on Facebook may ruin your reputation because of posting things that are not allowed to be posted on Facebook. As a result, your reputatition will be ruined and there will be no company that will employ you because of illegal stuff you are posting on Facebook.

It is also important to avoid posting naked pictures on Facebook. There are many people who are posting naked pictures on Facebook because they are not yet aware that may harm their reputation. Posting naked pictures on Facebook is highly unacceptable but some people are still posting them. Lets manage our reputation by staying away from publishing illegal posts on Facebook. And don't forget that Facebook is automatically publishing posts under your name and make sure that whatever you post on Facebook represent yourself in a positive way.

  2. Celebrities are most likely people to be affected by such things because the media find it easy to attack them. take for axample Nontle Thema lost her job for posting offensive status, just like that.

  3. It is very important to manage self image on facebook.Orgnisations needs to have code of contact for social media platforms so that their publicist will posts status and images according to the company rules.

  6. Whatever you wright or post on facebook it reflects you so it is better to respect yourself and whoever you communicating with on social network.You may find it as a joke to post eye catching pictures of you naked but it ruins your perception from others.

  8. This ia a very srious issue that most people are not even aware of especialy the youth. People who usualy post naked pictures and insults on facebook and twitter are the youth and they tend to forget that one day they might be a representative of some huge company and what they are doing now might affect their whole future

  10. That`s nothing but the truth Marvee,what you post on facebook,tweeter or whatever represents yourself. It is too disadvantageous when you are applying for a job because it appears that you were not using these social networks responsibly.
